Time to Meet Our Resident Blogger

Huston We Have Lift Off…..

We Have Lift Off

So first things first let me introduce myself. I’m Georgie and I have been working on the beta launch, relaunch and communication of Mindbubble for the last ….blimey a year now! Today I’m proud to say that we are going live with our Mindbubble blog. This blog will give us a platform to really start to tell everyone what we are up to, who we’re working with and what we are thinking. We want this blog to really involve all the Mindbubble community so if there is anything you want us to discuss please let us know, no topic too big or too small!

Some of the Mindbubble community might remember that a few weeks (hmmm possible months) ago we let them know that we were looking for someone from Mindbubble to help us manage the community. We were lucky enough to find Sarah who is now Mindbubble’s resident blogger and will be writing for us at least twice a week. So without further ado I’m going to let Sarah introduce herself and I’ll be in touch again tomorrow with more exciting news on the Mindbubble blog.

Who Am I?

“They say Life Begins at 40 –  and that is exactly what happened to me, only it wasn’t quite like the 1970s sitcom, where the middle-aged husband and wife celebrate the fact their kids are fleeing the nest, leaving them free to roam and rediscover the romance of their redefined life as a couple. For me 40 meant: redundancy, moving house and motherhood…

It was a daunting time: the banks were going bust, our home turned into a money pit (thanks to the builders from hell – but that’s another story for another time!) but our boisterous boys were beautiful and, in truth, it’s been an exciting rebirth.

Yes, ‘me time’ has turned into ‘everyone apart from me time’ but I’ve discovered, thanks to muttering marathons with other mums in the playground, how resourceful we women are. Little equals the mine of fruitful information we have on the tip of our tongues and that is why Mindbubble is such a marvel to me.  Why limit our sharing and support skills to the swings when we can involve like-minded women across the country?

But who am I? (Get me a couch someone, this could take a while!) I’m Sarah. I’ve been an actress, Office Manager, Sing and Sign teacher and Journalist ; I’ve even handed out leaflets to shoppers in Guildford high street whilst dressed as a fancy dress pig and that’s no porky. Now, as one of Mindbubble’s resident bloggers, I look forward to sharing my thoughts and ideas with you, the Mindbubble community.”
